CE-100/CE-200 FUTURA 2.5 upgrade SOFTWARE LIVE UPDATE
Suitable for installation on following Microsoft® operating systems:
- Windows 7® 32bit and 64bit
- Windows Vista® 32bit and 64bit
- Windows XP® 32bit and 64bit
The software for your Futura CE-100/CE-200 machine can be updated so that it can run on the programs listed above. In order to do so you must purchase the FUTURA 2.5 upgrade that will upgrade your software to functionality equivalent to the features offered with FUTURA 3. Please check with your SINGER dealer in order to find out how to get the FUTURA 2.5 upgrade software package.
INSTRUCTIONS FOR LOADING THE FUTURA CE-100 or CE-200 BASE PROGRAM AND THE 2.5 UPGRADE
Load the base program. When it gets to 100% go into Task Manager. Left click on the Process Tab and find the Install.exe file. Highlight this file and then left click on End Process. Close Task Manager and the program should finish installing and make a desk top icon. Connect the USB cable and turn on the machine. Allow the computer to try to install the drivers. They won't install. Turn off the machine. Right click on the Futura desk top icon, left click on Properties, and left click on Compatibility tab. Select compatibility mode for Windows XP. If you have purchased any options such as “Autopunch”, these must be loaded at this time. Install Autopunch. Leave the CD in the tray. Turn on machine and attempt to open program. Type in Access Code. Program will not open. Turn off machine. Repeat above step for each option you need to install.
Install the 2.5 Upgrade software. REBOOT the computer. Unplug the USB cable.

This update will allow you to install and run on any of the following Windows operating systems: Windows 7 – both 32 bit and 64 bit, Windows Vista - both 32bit and 64bit, Windows XP 32 and 64 bit.
After you have downloaded the update patch, plug in the USB cable, turn on your machine and the drivers will finish installing.
